Ames doesn’t have enough pickleball courts. Join us in making change happen.

The Ames Pickleball Project is a community-wide effort to bring more pickleball infrastructure to Ames. This summer, we’re going to be hosting pop-events all over town.

But first, we need to know people truly want more pickleball in Ames!

This quick form helps show us and community leaders the demand for better court access and gives you a chance to stay in the loop as things progress.

The Ames Pickleball Project

Who are we?

We are a group of Ames born-and-raised pickleball players who grew tired of waiting for 30 minutes to play at Emma McCarthy Lee park, the only place in town with dedicated pickleball courts. We grew tired of Iowa winters keeping us cooped-up inside for 4 months out of the year.

So, we started The Ames Pickleball Project, a grassroots movement of local players, families, and students who want more places to play the game they love.

This summer, we are organizing large pop-up events with food trucks, giveaways, tournaments, all to show that Ames is excited and ready for more pickleball infrastructure!
